View NVMe/TCP endpoints
Unisphere provides monitoring and management for Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe/TCP) directors, NVMe/TCP ports, NVMe/TCP endpoints, IP interfaces, and IP routes.
About this task
To view the NVMe/TCP endpoints:
Steps
- Select a storage system that is running PowerMaxOS 10 (6079).
- Select System > iSCSI+NVMe and click NVME tab to open the NVMe dashboard.
-
Click
NVMe/TCP Endpoints (Attached or Unattached).
The following properties display, depending on the operating environment:
Dir:Virtual Port The assigned virtual port for the NVMe/TCP endpoint. TCP Port The TCP port that is to be used for all IP addresses attached to it. Name The custom name value of the NVMe/TCP endpoint. Status The status of the NVMe/TCP endpoint. Network ID The network identity of the IP interface that provides isolated IP routes. IP Interfaces The total number of IP interfaces attached to the NVMe/TCP endpoint. NVMe/TCP Ports The total number of physical IP ports associated with the NVMe/TCP endpoint. Volumes The total number of volumes that are mapped to the NVMe/TCP endpoint. To see more information about a NVMe/TCP endpoint, select it and click
. The following parameters are displayed:
- Dir:Virtual Port—The assigned virtual port for the NVMe/TCP endpoint
- TCP Port—The TCP port to be used for all IP addresses attached to it
- Name—The custom name value of the NVMe/TCP endpoint
- Status—The status of the NVMe/TCP endpoint
- Network ID—The network identity of the IP interface that provides isolated IP routes.
- IP Interfaces—The total number of IP interfaces attached to the NVMe/TCP endpoint.
- NVMe/TCP Ports—The total number of physical IP ports associated with the NVMe/TCP endpoint.
- Volumes—The total number of volumes that are mapped to the NVMe/TCP endpoint
The following controls are available, depending on the operating environment:- Create— Create a NVMe/TCP endpoint
- Attach— Attach an NVMe/TCP endpoint to an IP interface
- Modify— Modify a NVMe/TCP endpoint
- Detach— Detach an NVMe/TCP endpoint from an IP interface (only available from the Attached NVMe/TCP Endpoints list view.
—Delete a NVMe/TCP endpoint
